JSON to C# Converter
Paste JSON, get ready-to-compile C# classes or records — TypeScript included.
About this tool
Writing C# models for an API response by hand is slow and error-prone. Paste any JSON payload and get matching C# classes or records instantly — nested objects become their own types, arrays get proper element types, and System.Text.Json attributes are one toggle away. Need the same shapes on the frontend? Switch the output to TypeScript interfaces.
Features
- Generates C# classes or records — pick the style your codebase uses
- Optional JsonPropertyName attributes for System.Text.Json
- Nested objects and arrays mapped to separate, properly typed models
- TypeScript interface output for matching frontend types
- 100% client-side — your JSON never leaves the browser
FAQ
Is my JSON uploaded anywhere?
No. The converter runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server, logged, or stored. You can safely paste payloads from internal or production systems.
Does it support System.Text.Json?
Yes. Turn on the attributes option and every property gets a JsonPropertyName attribute with the original JSON key, so deserialization works out of the box without a custom naming policy.
Should I generate records or classes?
Records are a solid default for immutable DTOs in modern .NET; classes fit better when you need mutable models or target an older codebase. The tool generates either — switch the style and the output updates instantly.
How are nested objects and arrays handled?
Every nested object is extracted into its own named type, and arrays are typed from their elements — so even a deeply nested payload converts into a complete, ready-to-compile set of types.
